Transportation in Split

Split has organized public transportation at a high level. The bus, ferry and train stations are at one base and frequency of departures is excellent. There are many taxis everywhere.  Split airport is located on the west side of Kastela bay, 19 km from Split and it is handling over 3 million passangers by a year.
